The Urban Light Fighter Course trains US civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel in urban information collection and reporting using aerial and ground based reconnaissance tools and tactics. Participants will engage in sustained operations within an active and living urban environment, using open-source and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment.Students will conduct aerial survey missions with COTS drones, perform ground reconnaissance, including area analysis, covert photography, RF spectrum monitoring, communications and reporting.
Instructors, certified under FAA Part 107 and FCC licenses, guide participants through realistic scenarios with active role players. All drone operations occur in FAA-approved airspace, coordinated with local law enforcement.
The course is now available with two pricing options to suit your needs:
$600 option – Ideal for those who prefer to arrange their own accommodations. This provides full access to all course material while allowing participants the flexibility to choose their own lodging.
$950 option – Includes lodging and offers the full immersive experience. Be 100% part of the team as you complete both the academic content and practical exercises in a cohesive, on-site environment.
Both options include tuition and access to CR2’s online educational portal, where a mandatory pre-course module must be completed prior to attendance. Participants will only be required to bring civilian attire and a laptop. All course equipment will be provided. Course kits will be available for sale after the course if you wish to purchase.
