About this Event
Urban Foraging Walk
Come out to celebrate spring with new friends - both plant and human - on a playful urban foraging walk at Interlaken Park!
You will be introduced to some common edible plants, learn some sustainable foraging best practices, and go home some ideas for eating/preparing the wild foods we meet. This hands-on experience is perfect for families, nature lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with nature in the heart of the city. See you there!
Family-friendly, no pets please.
Consider bringing:
A friend or two, water, a snack, camera, and please dress for the weather and wear layers - walk will go on rain or shine!
Sliding Scale Pricing:
A sliding scale is an equity-based payment structure where the participant’s financial situation informs the rate they pay for a service. Please choose the level that feels right for you at the moment.
If you would like more info to help guide your self-assessment, check out the green bottle sliding scale designed by Alexis Cunningham.
