Join us for a day of creating your own Passive Hydroponics systems to take home, taste test microgreens, and shop locally for seeds!
About this Event

Join Davíd Toledo from Contemporary Farmer, Inc. for this collaborative workshop all about growing methods and microgreens!

Come learn about the benefits of growing different types of veggies and herbs using a passive hydroponics system, suitable for those living in apartments or with limited outdoor space.

See the process of growing microgreens (small vegetables full of nutrients that grow within a span of 20 days ) as well as how to harvest, and prepare them yourself. You will be able to enjoy a microgreen tasting session from Broccoli, Red Cabbage, and more all locally grown by Davíd at Plant Chicago!

At the end of this workshop, Davíd will be available at Plant Chicago's La Tiendita for a shop pop-up until 3pm where they will be selling their products.

We look forward to seeing you soon~
