DUNSIN OYEKAN's PROFILE
Dunsin Oyekan is a Nigerian contemporary Christian, singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and recording artist popularly referred to as The Eagle.
He is the convener of the Code Red Worship Experience & The Outpouring, a revival movement that saw people gather in their thousands at the maiden edition in November 2021 in Lagos Nigeria, with others around the world watching via different platforms.
Dunsin who started singing and playing the guitar at age 10 attributes his love for music and songwriting to his late father who also loved music and encouraged him to learn the guitar.
Dunsin Oyekan is generally described as an erudite and prophetic worship minister. His lyrics and music are born from the place of encounter and personal walk with God. When asked about His music ministry, he says "We don't sing songs but Revelation".
He is diligently sought after as a revivalist in worship. He desires to see another moment of AZUSA revival in this end time as Jesus is lifted. He has a large heart yearning for youths of his generation as he hopes to see them understand the essence of power and glory that only God can give.
He has five albums to his credit Code Red, a 14-track album released in 2016, and Kingdom Now a 20-track album released in 2019. His third is 2021 released The Gospel of The Kingdom Album, a 16-track album he describes as messages of heaven released as sounds & year 2022 released The Glory Experience ( Songs of Zion), and The Birth of Revival, a 14-track album released January 2023 with sounds heralding the move of God in this season of Revival.
He has well over 50 songs to his credit including Maranatha, Let Your Sound, Benediction, Who is on the Lord’s side, Ascend, Always God, One-on-One, Open Up, Imole De, Keiyadosh, YAH, With Joy, and Fragrance to Fire stirring up revivals everywhere they are heard and sung.
He currently hosts a gang of worshippers called the Upper Room gang gathering weekly to lavish their love for God in worship. The weekly meeting is streamed live on his social media platforms to give access to other worshippers around the globe.
Dunsin Oyekan is the convener of The Outpouring, A revival Outreach that had its maiden edition in November 2021. The outreach saw people in their thousands gather in The Lekki area of Lagos, Nigeria with hundreds of thousands of satellite viewers on DStv and other social media platforms. It is a city-wide worship revival meeting that has the mandate to raise end-time armies in different cities across the nations of the earth.
He has shared the stage with gospel music notables including Tasha Cobbs, Kurt Carr, Don Moen, Byron Cage, Tye Tribbett, William Murphy, Kim Burrell, Sinach, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Frank Edwards, Freke Umoh, Micah Stampley, Travis Greene, Chandler Moore to mention a few.
