High-tech systems. Low-tech souls.In cyberpunk storytelling, identity is unstable, memory is negotiable, and every choice rewrites the code.In this immersive two-day intensive, improvisers will build and inhabit a fully realized cyberpunk world — one where bodies can be upgraded, rented, or duplicated, and humanity persists in surprising, often funny ways. This intensive blends devised-world creation, ensemble-driven narrative, and character exploration to generate emotionally grounded sci-fi that feels theatrical, cinematic, and deeply human. Rather than parodying the genre, we’ll explore its central tension: what happens when people try to love, survive, and assert identity inside systems not built for them?
We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. Refunds / Transfers / Exchanges
All BATS Improv class registrations are final, and we’re not able to offer refunds or transfers once you’ve enrolled.
Canceled Classes
If we need to cancel a class due to low enrollment, illness, or other surprises, you’ll receive a class credit good through the end of the calendar year. Credits can be applied to any BATS Improv class for which you've satisfied the prerequisites, or gifted to a friend or family member.
