Join Mary Charlee Designs, Eastside Rebuild, and Wenatchee River Institute for a free Upcycled Craft-ernoon in preparation for our upcoming Trashion Show! We will have several craft stations that will include using sewing machines, recycled materials, and maybe even some tools from Eastside Rebuild's library to create something new from used materials! Make flowers, sashes, or Trashion Show Voting Boxes with us, or come up with your own project! Trashion Show Teams can bring their garment to work on as well.Inspired by our Trashion Show, this Craft-ernoon is suitable for anyone who wants to turn "trash" into wearable or usable treasure! Take home your crafts, or donate them to our Decorations Committee and you might see your design at the April 24th, 2026 Trashion Show! Drop in or stay for the whole time!
Projects best suited to ages 8 and up, but younger children are welcome with parent help and supervision. Anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Free, but donations appreciated.
We will have some materials on hand, but helpful things to bring include:
Scrap fabric
Plastic Easter Eggs (including broken ones!)
Washed and dried Plastic bottles
Washed and dried Chip Bags
Trashion Show Teams: Bring your garment or supplies from it
Anything else that you think might have a use, even if you can't think of it!
Please make sure all materials are clean!
