Join us for a powerful evening of art, reflection, and community as we celebrate the opening of UpCycled 4: Reclaimed & Remembered, a special exhibition honoring veterans through the transformative power of recycled art.
In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, local and regional artists have created original works using repurposed, reclaimed, and found materials to explore themes of patriotism, service, resilience, remembrance, and the enduring American spirit.
Call to Artists is now available online at mcaocala.org/calls-to-artists. Deadline to submit artworks is Monday, March 23 by midnight.
This inspiring one-month exhibition demonstrates how creative reuse — also known as upcycling — can transform discarded materials into works of higher artistic and environmental value. Through sculpture, mixed media, assemblage, and more, artists breathe new life into objects while paying tribute to those who have served our country.
