Simple Hemming, Mending and How to Upcycle/Repurpose Clothing
Taught by Stitching Change
Prior knowledge of basic machine sewing skills required (see our Commmunity Sewing Class for basic machine skills)
For anyone in the community, age 15 and up.
We'll learn simple hemming and mending to get the right length for your skirts, dresses and pants. Or turn your t-shirts into sleeveless shirts, pants into shorts, and dresses into nice blouses.
$7 per session or $18 for all three weekly sessions.
Fridays, February 6th, 13th, & 20th, 1:30pm-4:00pm
We will follow a lesson plan, so we encourage you to sign up for all three sessions but we can make accomodations if you can only attend one or two sessions.
Supplies are provided.
All the proceeds from the tickets will go to support our community programs.
