Marquette, MI — UPAWS will host its annual Cause for Paws Gala on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ore Dock Brewing Company. The evening promises to be a memorable celebration supporting local animal welfare efforts, featuring a live auction, raffles, great local appetizers, music, and the organization’s annual awards ceremony. The Cause for Paws Gala is one of the organization’s signature fundraising events, bringing together animal lovers, community supporters, and local businesses for a night of giving back. “Events like the Cause for Paws Gala allow our community to come together in support of animals who depend on us,” said Nicole Swenson. “Every ticket, donation, and auction bid directly supports the care, medical treatment, and adoption services that help animals find loving homes.”
Tickets for the event are $50 per person. A limited number of tables are available from $180 for a table of four and $250 for a table of six. Community members are encouraged to attend, support the cause, and enjoy an evening dedicated to helping animals in need.
