The Carleton is pleased to present Micah Barnes – formerly of The Nylons – & his solo concert evening " Up On The Roof!Micah’s new solo concert evening gives audiences a peek "behind the curtain" at his journey from the Cabaret clubs of Toronto to the bright lights of New York, Los Angeles and the international stage. Performing solo at the piano, Barnes will be mixing songs from his chart topping Jazz albums “New York Stories” & Vegas Breeze” with original material in a show that functions like a musical “memoir” of his life and times -from his early Queen Street days to touring the globe- and all the messy parts in between! "This kind of solo-at-the-piano concert allows me to meet audiences in the kind of intimate setting that creates a deeper conversation," says Barnes. "Now that I am a 'Solo Nylon,' it is a chance for the fans to really get to know me—and yes, I’ll be performing your favourite Nylons song!”
The date is Sunday, August 16th, show time is 7 PM and tickets are only $25 + HST.
