📍 Venue: Buffelsfontein Project, Mount Pleasant
This is a market where young entrepreneurs (Grade 1–7) get the chance to run their very own stalls. From cupcakes and crafts to plants, toys, and fun novelties — the creativity of our kids will be on full display!
But it’s not just about selling — it’s about learning life skills too:
💰 Buying and managing stock
📈 Setting prices and profit margins
💳 Borrowing and repaying “loans” from parents
🧾 Paying “rent” for their stall
🛍️ Serving real customers with confidence
👉 Next year, we’ll be adding business masterclasses for the kids before markets, where they’ll learn about business plans, merchandising, and money management in an age-appropriate way.
🧾 Stall fee: R150
📏 Stall size: 2m x 2m (all tables, chairs, and tablecloths must be provided by the vendor)
⛺ Note: No gazebos unless they fit within the stall space.
👨👩👧 Parents must stay with their child for the full duration of the event for safety and support.
