The University of the Philippines Diliman campus has always been a space where ideas are born, where courage is shaped, and where purpose takes action. And last year, it became the starting line of something bigger than a race.In June 2025, the UP Alumni Engineers (UPAE), in partnership with MNL City Run, launched the first-ever UP Fight Run: Isko Pride in Every Stride — a milestone event that brought together thousands of runners united by one shared goal: to run with purpose and give back.
It was not just about kilometers completed or finish lines crossed. It was about impact. It was about community. It was about embodying what it truly means to be an Iskolar ng Bayan.
Through the collective effort of every participant, partner, and supporter, the event successfully raised Php 500,000 — directly supporting UPAE’s initiatives and the UP Engineering Student Loan Program, helping deserving students continue their education despite financial challenges.
Because in UP, every achievement carries a deeper responsibility — to uplift others, to serve the people, and to create opportunities where they are needed most. This year, the movement grows. And the rallying cry of “UP Fight” gets even louder.
A series rooted in Isko pride and purpose
What began in UP Diliman in 2025 proved that a campus run can be more than a wellness initiative. On June 28, 2026, the event heads back to the flagship campus of the UP system for yet another purposeful, community-driven run.
UP Fight Run 2026 will feature 10K, 5K, 3K, and 1K Dog Run categories, welcoming all running enthusiasts to once again take part in a cause-driven event.

*Race shirts are available for all categories in XS, S, M, L, XL, and 2XL sizes. It’s available on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Race bibs will be color-coded according to the category. Each bib comes with detachable stubs for the raffle, finisher medal, finisher shirt, and baggage claim.
Online registration is open from May 8, 2026 to June 22, 2026 or until slots are filled.
📍 On-site registration is also available at Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City from May 16 to June 26, 2026 or while slots last. And at UP Diliman Campus every weekend starting May 16.
