About this Event
The uOttawa Next Gen Double Reed Workshop is a fun day of learning for elementary and high school oboe and bassoon students. Coachings led by Charles Hamann and Darren Hicks are focused on building fundamentals, improving ensemble skills, and developing confident musicians in a supportive environment.
Students will also work with peers at a similar level and take part in a collaborative ensemble session led by Susan Butler. The day also includes a free pizza lunch, and Sandpiper Oboe Boutique will be on site for all your supplies needs.
This workshop is intended for pre-university students to ensure a focused, student-centered experience.
