Unwind – Gentle Somatic Yoga & Gong Bath Feeling stressed, tense or in need of a reset? This special afternoon is designed to help you completely unwind while also supporting a wonderful cause.
Pip’s son, Tom, is travelling to Uganda in the summer to stay with the wonderful Amigos Worldwide, a children’s charity that supports the local community and provides training for young people to learn a trade. Tom will be helping to build school rooms, water storage tanks, helping at the local school and with the harvest, amongst other activities and all the money from this afternoon will go towards his trip and the charity.
Join us for a deeply relaxing session beginning with gentle somatic yoga. Pip will guide you through slow, mindful movements that help release tension, calm the nervous system and reconnect you with your body. The movements are simple, slow and accessible, and can be done lying on a mat or sitting in a chair, making this session perfect for beginners or anyone who prefers a softer, more restorative style of yoga.
Then we’ll break for tea and cake and there will be an opportunity to talk to Tom about his trip to Uganda.
After the break you’ll lie down, get comfortable and drift into deep rest while the soothing vibrations of the gong bath, played by Sophie, wash over you.
This is an opportunity to slow down, let go of the day and allow your body and mind to truly relax.
