Although synth pop artist nici's sound might take more cues from 80s pop, new wave or even italo disco rather than hardcore punk, he probably wouldn't have ever started recording his own pop songs without the DIY ethos and anyone-can-do-it approach to making music of the underground punk scene. With catchy pop hooks, heartfelt lyrics, and a sound that borrows heavily from the whole palette of the 80s underground; hypnotizing synth melodies, chorused guitars, drum machines, and reverb-drenched tom fills, nici has been winning over the hearts of audiences since the release of his self-titled Casette EP in 2022. Nici's full length debut "Return to Glory” was released digitally and on vinyl through
Contraszt Records and Unterschall Records in May 2024.

VISCOUS is a Darkwave/Synthpop trio based in Leipzig, Germany, born from a shared love for the sound of vintage synthesizers and analogue drum machines.
Their debut EP "Nothing Yet" is the culmination of months of DIY creativity – crafted in their own bedroom studios.
