All members are reminded of the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting of the members of UNSW Law Society Inc (โLawSocโ). The details of the meeting are as follows:

+ Election of Vice-President (Juris Doctor and Postgraduate)
+ Accept the minutes of previous Annual General Meeting on 17 October 2025
+ Accept the 2026 Presidentsโ Report
+ Accept the 2026 Treasurersโ Report
+ Accept the results of the Election of Vice-President (Juris Doctor and Postgraduate)

In accordance with Constitution cl. 32.4, and in the interests of efficiency and environmental sustainability, voting for the resolutions will be by a show of hands for the entire EGM unless the Chair motions for voting by ballot, or alternatively 5 or more members motion for voting by ballot.
In accordance with Constitution cl. 11.2.3, election of the Vice-President (Juris Doctor and Postgraduate) will be held via secret ballot.
Proxy voting is permitted as per Constitution cl 11.2.3.4 and cl. 32.5. Please return the proxy form no later than 1:00 pm 26 February 2026 to the Secretary ([email protected].)
