Experience something truly powerful at our UNSUNG series. 🎶Presented by the Sing Sing Prison Museum in collaboration with our incredible partners at Life Stories, Musicambia, and the Ossining Public Library, UNSUNG is a unique multimedia community conversation about stories from the carceral system.
Think of it as a blend of a movie, a concert, and a book club all in one. Each evening features dynamic storytelling, live music to create emotional space for reflection, and moderated conversation with both our on-stage panel and the audience. This is where we share stories, listen, and work together to build a more just society.
Join us for UNSUNG: Forgiveness, featuring:
• Marcus Menendez (forgiveness)
• Carlos Ivan Califf, from Columbia University’s Center for Justice
• Jennifer Marcuso, Executive Director of the Interfaith Prison Partnership
• John Gillman, a retired DOCCS lieutenant
This program is free and open to the public, and takes place in the Budarz Theater at the Ossining Public Library.
We invite you to attend one or all of these programs. Your voice is a key part of the conversation.
