On November 21th, we invite you to “Unspoken: Navigating Hard Conversations in Design”—a panel discussion where seasoned professionals share their insights on balancing authenticity with the demands of a creative career.
Topics will include navigating pregnancy and motherhood at work, respecting cultural traditions, managing challenging stakeholders, and advocating for design's true value. Whether you're new or experienced in the field, this conversation is for you!
Meet our Panelists 🦸 🦸 🦸:
Chrystel Black: Chrystel is a seasoned UX strategist with expertise in digital product design and user-centered practices, driving effective, intuitive experiences. A mentor and influential leader, she unites multidisciplinary teams around shared business goals.
Elana Rudick: Elana is the Founder and Creative Director of Design Is Yummy, an award-winning graphic design studio she launched in 2009 after leaving the corporate world to pursue her passion for clean, thoughtful design. Leading a talented team of creative professionals, Elana is also a mentor and speaker on the art and business of design.
Sophie Tarnowska: Sophie is a bilingual public speaker, education designer, and facilitator with global experience across diverse industries. Founder of WeDoSomething.org and Director of Versus, she promotes dialogue, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster inclusive, collaborative leadership.
