About this Event
Unsettling Settlers, A Very Plymouth Rock Disaster is a FREE COMEDY & CABARET show bursting with cathartic, chaotic energy. We’re throwing tradition out the window—and possibly into the Pacific Ocean—as we flip the script on gratitude and gather for a hilarious night of stand-up, music, poetry, storytelling, and show-stopping sing-a-longs.
In honor of Santa Monica’s 150th Birthday, we're taking a historical look back at the origins of this great land... and then we're going to make fun of them. That's right: If Thanksgiving is about giving thanks to our ancestors, we figured we'd spend the evening awkwardly acknowledging their bad behavior! It's a perfect blend of high-concept satire and low-stakes family trauma.
Come celebrate the only way the Westside knows how: with incredible talent, delicious craft beer, and jokes that will make the Pilgrims spin in their graves.
(Best for ages 14+—we talk about history, and history can be spicy.)
