The secret to helping kids unplug and thrive? Nature. Join Dr. Scott Sampson & Adam Bienenstock for a FREE event presented by ODC Network!
About this Event

Join Dr. Scott Sampson (paleontologist, science communicator, author, and Dinosaur Train host) and Adam Bienenstock (award-winning play space designer, educator, and author) for an inspiring evening exploring how curiosity, play, and nature can help kids thrive in a digital world.

In this dynamic presentation, Scott reveals how hands-on engagement with the natural world can counteract the mental and emotional challenges of excessive screen time. Using storytelling, humor, and science-backed insights, he shows families and educators how fostering curiosity, creativity, and outdoor exploration can help kids, and adults, thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Adam shares insights from his work creating playful, engaging, and safe environments that nurture curiosity, collaboration, and joy. Audiences leave inspired with practical ideas for reimagining the spaces where children grow, play, and learn, both at home and in schools.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, or simply passionate about science and play, this presentation offers a hopeful roadmap for balancing technology and the natural world.
