About this Event
Join us for an evening dedicated to stone part of exhibition's public program.
During the event:
Pierre Bidaud of The Stonemasonry Company will speculate on stone misuse at No.1 Poultry designed in 1985 by James Stirling and completed twelve years later.
Robert Greer of PAYE will address stone reuse at The Ned, designed by Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens in 1924.
Together, they will speculate on the contemporary application of stone spolia at CSK Architects' Phoenix House.
This event is kindly sponsored by The Stone and Surfaces Show.
What lasts doesn't always hold shape
Curated by Taylor Hall and Rebecca Jak, this exhibition explores stone as material and metaphor, bringing together the works of Jobe Burns, Marian Drew and Levent Ozruh.
The exhibition will run 30 January - 7 March (Thursday - Sunday 12-6pm)
