Unofficial Middle Gordon Race! This is an unofficial race just for fun and FULLY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The race is ideally going to happen on Saturday January 10th. We will be able to have a good sense of if the flows will work for us about a week before hand. Obviously the flows are completely unpredictable this far out. If it is too high to race we will try again the next weekend…
Plan is to ether race from above Entrance to the pool below minefield or to the pool below at it with ease… followed by a party lap on the rest of the middle and lower
no cost to enter and the only prize is bragging rights and maybe I’ll give you a beer
Spectators are welcome, best spot would be to paddle down ( you can paddle back up to the upper take out after the race) or walk down to the entrance waterfall.
Please only race if you are already comfortable with running the middle.
If there is anyone who is comfortable with running the middle but does not want to race and could set safety, send me a message!
After the Race come camp at the stage for a good time and some more laps on Sunday!
