UNO TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Game Format

• Players will be grouped into tables of 4–6 players.
• Each table plays one full round.
• Winners from each table advance to the next round.
• Final table determines the champion.

2. Objective

• Be the first player to get rid of all your cards.
• Points are awarded based on cards left in opponents’ hands.

3. Starting the Game

• Each player is dealt 7 cards.
• Remaining cards form the draw pile.
• Top card is flipped to start the discard pile.

4. Gameplay Basics

• Match the top card by color, number, or symbol.
• If you don’t have a playable card, draw one.
• If the drawn card is playable, you may play it immediately.

5. Action Cards

• Skip: Next player loses their turn.
• Reverse: Changes direction of play.
• +2: Next player draws 2 cards and loses their turn.
• Wild: Choose any color.
• Wild +4: Choose a color + next player draws 4 (must not have a matching color to play it).

6. Calling “UNO”

• When you have 1 card left, you must say “UNO.”
• If caught not saying it, draw 2 cards.

7. Winning & Scoring

• First player to empty their hand wins the round.
• Optional: Points system can be used (cards left in opponents’ hands count toward winner’s score).

8. Tournament Progression

• Winners advance until the final round.
• Final round winner is the UNO Champion 🏆

9. House Rules

• No stacking +2 or +4 cards
• Be respectful and have fun!
