Join us in person to celebrate women, neurodiversity, and embracing late diagnoses unmasked and unapologetic!
About this Event

Join former TV and radio presenter turned ADHD speaker, coach, neurodiversity consultant and founder of Norfolk Women with ADHD Hester Grainger. Unmasked and Unapologetic will be an interactive, empowering session exploring what it really means to be a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman.

For many women, ADHD and other neurodivergences are missed or misunderstood for years, hidden behind masking, people-pleasing, high achievement, burnout, anxiety and a lifetime of being told to “try harder”.

This talk explores why that happens, the cost of it, and what can change once you finally understand your brain.

With honesty, humour and lived experience, Hester shares her own late-diagnosis journey from years of masking to self-acceptance, clarity and pride and what that diagnosis unlocked, emotionally and practically.

In this session, we’ll explore:

· Why women are so often missed or misdiagnosed

· Masking: what it is, why we do it, and the impact it has on our wellbeing

· The emotional and practical realities of neurodivergence, including rejection sensitivity, hormones and burnout

· What late diagnosis can unlock — self-compassion, boundaries and a new way of seeing yourself

· How to live more unapologetically, with practical tools, community and support

Expect laughter, real talk and practical insights into life through a neurodivergent lens. This is a safe, engaging space to learn, connect and celebrate the power of understanding yourself.

There’ll also be time for Q&A, so bring your questions, curiosity and an open mind. You’ll leave feeling seen, uplifted and inspired often for the first time.
