Recruitment process adjustments for disabled and neurodivergent students
About this Event

Requesting adjustments during the recruitment process can ensure you can showcase your full abilities and potential to recruiters. This is one of the most common reasons people share their disability and/or neurodivergent condition with employers—and it can be a game changer.

Join us for an insightful session designed to help you navigate the recruitment process with confidence. Learn how to advocate for yourself, secure the adjustments you need and find inclusive workplaces that value your unique strengths.

This session will look at:

  • Sharing your disability and/or neurodivergence with recruiters
  • When and how to do this
  • Adjustments you can request
  • How to know if an organisation is inclusive

It will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain practical advice and set yourself up for success!

'So, here's the thing...' gives people an opportunity to talk to an audience about something they are passionate or knowledgeable about. Hosted by Library and Learning Services at the University of Northampton, students, staff and members of the public are all welcome.

Members of the public will need to request a Visitor Pass in advance to access the venue.

Please contact if you have any queries about this event, need a Visitor Pass, or would like to be a future speaker.
