The Role of the SENDco

Northamptonshire Inclusion Mentoring Partnership (NIMP) are delivering training on the role of the SENDCo.

The training will cover the key and vital aspects of the SENDCo role

•       legislation and our legal obligations- SEND code of practice/ EYFS

•       writing SMART targets

•       assessing children

•       how to refer a child to outside agencies & access funding

•       assess, plan, do, review approach

•       organising reviews and transition meetings

•       explore the SEND ranges/ Developmental profiles

•       and a chance to ask questions….
