This session is designed to activate sound through your vocal cords and open your throat chakra, allowing you to step out of your own way, overcome our negative self beliefs and let a truer creative expression flow through you.
Remember, you cannot get it wrong!
*What to Expect:*
• We will begin with a meditation to become aware of the somatic messages of the body, focusing especially on the solar plexus and throat, while exploring the negative messages about singing that we have historically taken on.
• We will then dive into sounding with OMs at our own breath timing, letting the breath fill our lungs to calm the mind and create a resonant frequency.
• Explore sounds that are deliberately ‘off-key’ to stretch and discover your unique vocal range.
• Engage in sounding through the vowels, to further explore our vocals.
• Experiment with various tones, including throat singing, and talking and singing in gibberish or light language.
• Finally, we will allow our own unique expressions to meld with others, creating a never-to-be-repeated magical layered symphony of our combined resonances.
This workshop promises a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a curious beginner, you are welcome to experience the magic of sound and resonance.
The 2 hour session is being offered via Energy Philanthropy – allowing you to pay or contribute what you feel is appropriate. Your donations contribute to the out-of-pocket expenses Mo and Alli pay for the running of the centre, however are not a condition to attend.
