About the Trainer!
Rachel is a qualified nurse, with over a decade of experience in nursing education. Her background is in Critical Care, a specialism where she worked for 12 years, from staff nurse, to Sister, Educator and Matron. She moved into Higher Education at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021, where she is now a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing. She teaches across the nursing programmes, specialising in anatomy and physiology, critical care, human factors, and acute illness management.
Rachel has a Postgraduate certificate in teaching in Higher Education and a Master’s in Nursing Studies.
