Held on our last day open before our Winter Break: Wednesday, December 18th.
Come discover the joy of continuous line contour drawing in this fun and freeing workshop.
Ideal for all skill levels, this session focuses on creativity over precision, helping you improve eye-hand coordination and develop your unique style. We will add these expressive drawings to simple intuitive collages.
Perfect for anyone looking to deepen their drawing practice, from beginners to seasoned artists.
We will learn to:
- Improve your eye-hand coordination
- Drawing techniques with engaging exercises
- Add some character to your expressive line drawings!
Students will walk away with multiple finished contour drawings layered on simple collages.
Come celebrate the end of our 2024 season making ART beside familiar faces and new friends!
Supply List:
- Mixed media paper or hot press watercolor paper (90lb or heavier)
- Black permanent pens (sharpies or posca pens of various thickness)
- Neutral papers for creating intuitive collage backgrounds
- The materials fee includes: paper adhesive, tracing paper, drawing paper, variety of collage papers
Optional:
- an interesting object from home to draw
