Welcome to GreenUP – A Plant Baby Plant Event at the University of Portland! Join us at SLUG (Student Led Unity Garden) on March 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM for a lively day of planting, creativity, and community.

Take home a plant, help grow the local garden, and learn about sustainable native gardening practices. Enjoy free one-hour watercolor sessions (space is limited), snacks, and music throughout the afternoon. You’ll also have the opportunity to spend time with Robin Wall Kimmerer — take photos, have books signed, join in planting, and engage in meaningful conversation.
