About this Event
As a graduate of Preston Polytechnic or Lancashire Polytechnic, we're delighted to invite you to join us at our Polytechnic Reunion.
The event will start with a talk entitled Learning and Living at Preston's Polytechnic, by University Historian and fellow Polytechnic alumnus, Dr Keith Vernon. You'll then have a chance to go on a 'Trip Down Memory Lane with the University Archives' where you can see memorabilia, photographs and artifacts from the Poly days with University Archivist, Francesca Robinson.
After a quick refreshment stop, you'll have the chance to go on a student led campus tour, where you can see for yourself how our campus and facilities have developed over the past 50 years. At the end of the tour, you'll be able to sit back and enjoy some light refreshments in our Student Centre. We may even be able to enjoy the views from our rooftop terrace if the weather is kind to us.
The event will conclude at 5.30pm but we encourage you to carry on the evening with your fellow alumni. There are many amazing restaurants in Preston (we can help with recommendations), or why not try the Laughter at the Lounge Comedy Club at The Guild Lounge. Click here to buy tickets.
