Universal Audenried Charter High School OAC Meeting OCTOBER 22nd

An Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC) meeting brings together industry professionals, educators, and community stakeholders to review and advise on the quality and relevance of our CTE programs. These meetings typically occur twice per year and serve as an essential link between education and the workforce.

During the meeting, participants will:

• Review the current CTE program curriculum
• Evaluate classroom and lab facilities
• Assess the equipment and technology used in instruction
• Provide recommendations to align training with current industry standards
• Discuss student outcomes, certifications, and employability skills
• Support career readiness initiatives such as internships, job shadows, or guest speaking

As part of the OAC process, we will complete a Facilities and Reporting Form, a required document that records the committee's observations and recommendations regarding:

• Safety and suitability of facilities
• Relevance and condition of instructional equipment
• Curriculum alignment with industry needs
• Opportunities for improvement or expansion

This form is essential for program accountability and is submitted to the state as part of our annual CTE compliance and improvement efforts.
