This show marks the launch of United Sound, curated by Andrea Wolf. It is a celebration of the distinct, undeniable, and wickedest underground sounds of the United Kingdom.
UKG, Speed Garage, Bassline, Jungle, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Grime — and every hybrid and evolution that carries that unmistakable British flavour. This is a night built for bass lovers, two-steppers, ravers, and anyone who craves the irresistible energy of the UK scene.
More than a club night — United Sound is a growing community.
It’s a gathering place where diverse musical styles meet, where both newcomers and long-time ravers are welcome, and where connections are made through rhythm, culture, and the shared love of low-end frequencies.

Phulla has been championing the underground UK sound since he set foot in Victoria. Hailing from Nottingham, his style reflects a rich fusion of genres. Having lived in different parts of England over the years, he's absorbed the diverse cultural influences on dance music in each city.
His DJ journey began shortly after falling in love with raving around 2017. Primarily spinning Drum and Bass, he found his first sets at squat raves in London. Just before the onset of COVID-19, he delved into production, expanding his musical horizons and fostering a deeper appreciation for a wide spectrum of sounds.
Since arriving in Victoria he has established himself as a multi-genre selector, drawing from soulful classics to his arsenal of bass-heavy dubplates.

Neo¹ is a rare breed of DJ who has been championing the Speed Garage sound since the summer of '99, bringing over 26 years of bassline knowledge to every set. Based on Vancouver Island, Neo¹'s unique craft fuses his signature Garage sound with a range of genres, from Bass House, Jackin' House, 2-Step, Breaks, DnB, Trap, Bassline House, and UK 4x4. Known for his electrifying stage presence and radical loving vibration and energy, he animates dance floors with bass-heavy sets that are as fun as they are fierce.
A staple in the Vancouver Island underground rave scene, with releases on acclaimed labels such as Atomic Zoo, Bassbong and Filthy Logik Records Las Vegas, he continues to showcase his mastery of bassline driven beats. Come and witness Neo¹'s art as he takes you on a journey through dirty, rolling, warping, and whompy beats mixed to perfection, creating an unforgettable set steeped in bass.

Andrea Wolf (aka: Andrea Wolfson) is a Canadian DJ and emerging producer whose sound is a bold, genre-blending love letter to the UK undergrounD and beyond. Based in Victoria, Canada, she is on a personal mission to bring the pulse of garage, grime, dubstep, and jungle to Canada’s West Coast—placing UKG at the heart of the dance floor. Andrea has performed at festivals across Canada and at favourite local venues including Lucky Bar (Houseworx), Capital Ballroom, Herman’s Upstairs, and more.
In 2025, Andrea cemented her reputation as one to watch by winning the Vancouver Island DJ Competition. She now holds a residency at The Downbeat (formerly the iconic Hush nightclub). A trained therapist and Coach, Andrea approaches DJing as both an art and a healing practice. Her sets are curated with intentionality—inviting connection, emotional release, and collective joy. With a collaborative spirit, Andrea is passionate about building community on and off the decks. As one of the only women in Canada specializing in UKG and speed garage, her standout style is both innovative and craved. With her future sights set on playing the UK's Kindred, Rinse FM, Mix Mag and The Warehouse Project, for now she’s making Victoria a home for bassline magic—one dancefloor at a time.
