Join them for the journey.Formed in 2022 in Rutland, England’s smallest county, Unit 5 is a band with broad horizons. Their unique sound is born of the diverse musical influences of its five founding members and the result is a wonderfully eclectic world of original music.
From jazzy chords and acoustic ballads to strutting funk and screaming solos, Unit 5's music is clever, captivating and always has something unexpected up its sleeve.
2025 saw the release of the band’s maiden album, Someone else’s life. From opening anthem, What Good is Love, through the charming acoustic Butterflies, the backbeat reggae blues of Guilty and the funk swagger of Shine to the guitar pyrotechnics of More Than Friends, it’s the perfect introduction to the characterful song writing and playful performance that are Unit 5’s hallmarks.
