Engaging with Children and Young People as Equal Partners

A deep dive into the principles that underpin meaningful participation and engagement, creative methods for engaging with children and young people, and how to remove barriers to participation.

This course is aimed at anyone working directly with or for children and young people, as well as those interested in how meaningful participation can lead to better outcomes in their work.

The session is delivered online through Microsoft Teams by Unicef UK as part of Derry City and Strabane Districts journey towards Unicef Child Friendly Community Status.

Part A and Part B of the session must be completed and participants must complete the evaluation surveys.
