May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and what better way to celebrate than with an empowering evening just for teens?
Join nonprofits and for a fun, interactive workshop focused on building confidence and positive self-image, supporting mental health, and learning to care for our minds and bodies with compassion.
This special night is all about helping teens feel strong, confident, and seen. Through education, engaging group activities and real conversations, we’ll explore:
✨ How to feel more at home in your body
✨ The power of positive self-talk
✨ What self-care really means (and how it can help your mental health)
✨ Ways to support your friends—and yourself
Whether you're navigating body image struggles, want to boost your confidence, or just need a night to feel uplifted and understood, this event is for you.

Snacks will be provided. Open to teens ages 12 - 18 of all genders.
About the hosting organizations:
Rock Recovery is a nonprofit based in Arlington, VA whose mission is to make life-saving eating disorder treatment and support accessible to all. Founded in 2009, Rock Recovery exists to help people break out of isolation and find real freedom from disordered eating and body image issues. Rock Rock Recovery offers holistic, affordable outpatient eating disorder care to individuals and families across DC, MD, & VA. To date, Rock has provided more than 500 individuals with life-changing eating disorder therapy and provided education and support to nearly 20,000 more. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit that helps to address the mental and physical health concerns of middle school and high school girls. Now more than ever, girls need the skills to build their confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and discover the joy of movement.
