Student Vocal Artists are High School Juniors and Seniors seeking an intensive opportunity to develop new skills in a safe and supportive environment. With opportunities to work with UNF Vocal Arts Faculty Dr. James Hall and Dr. Cara Tasher, as well as guest clinician, Joey Martin, on both solo and choral singing techniques. The Student Vocal Artists will be guided by current UNF voice students as they go through training sessions, daily activities, and rehearsals, until we say farewell with a combined recital with the Conductor’s Studio.Student Vocal Artists will:
-Attend sessions on diction, vocal exercises, body awareness, sight reading, audition techniques, expressive singing and more!
-Rehearse new repertoire with faculty and conducting fellows
-Explore the beautiful UNF Campus with current UNF students
-Participate in leadership and social activities
-Enjoy daily lunch on-campus
-Receive music and T-shirt (included in fee)
-Sing in Saturday Conductor’s Studio Recital
