About this Event
Stop overthinking it. The hardest part of drawing is just sitting down to do it. We get distracted, we worry about what to make, and we end up doing nothing.
The "Undisciplined Workshop" is just a place to draw. That's it. It’s not a class. You don't need a "good idea" to show up. You can doodle, practice your lines, or fill a page with circles. The only goal is to spend 90 minutes doing the work.
The Setup:
- 0-5 Mins: Find a seat. Grab a kit.
- 90 Mins: Door closes. We draw.
- The End: You leave with a finished page (or five).
The Rules:
- No Teachers: No one is looking over your shoulder.
- No Screens: Phones must be on "Do Not Disturb" and face down on the table. If you need to text, step into the hall.
- Music: Headphones are allowed, but music must be inaudible to others (zero leakage). Set your playlist and forget it.
- Use Our Gear: To keep the library happy (no mess, no fumes), please only use the supplies we provide. Leave your own pens and paints at home.
- Analog Only: No iPads or tablets.
The Gear (Free): We have a kit ready for everyone at their seat:
- Paper: 18" x 24" Canson Newsprint (Huge sheets).
- Pencils: Cretacolor Woodless Graphite (Solid sticks).
- Color: 64-Count Crayons & Broad Line Markers.
