About this Event

Dress for movement -- this is a space for you to express, explore, & adventure with Jesus! Your free spirit will have an outlet to move how it wants, knowing its blessing our Father.

Inspired by Ecstatic Dance.
What IS Ecstatic Dance? It's a worldwide freeform dance movement that started in Hawaii in the year 2000 and is now in almost every major city around the globe. But this is bringing a Christian heart to the movement!

The Universal Ecstatic Dance Guidelines help create a safe and sacred space for everyone. Please take a moment to read them—they are the foundation of this practice.

📌(Move as You Wish)

This is a space for authentic self-expression and freeform movement.

📌(No Talking on the Dance Floor once the dance begins)

This creates a focused, meditative experience for all. Sounds and emotional expression are welcome: Vocalizations like laughter, cheers, and even cries are completely accepted within the space. Please take verbal conversations outside.

📌(No Photos/Videos)

We ask that you put your phone away and be fully present. This is a safe space for you to really drop in without distractions worry of showing up on social media. Photos and videos are not permitted.

📌(No Shoes)

This protects the floor and also grounds you through the vibrations of the music.

📌(No Substances:)

This is a sober, drug/alcohol-free space.

📌(Consent)

Dancing with others is beautiful and welcomed! Just be aware of someone's cues and their interest in dancing with you. If you are unsure or someone's eyes are closed, it is a "no". Dancers are encouraged to not take a "no" personally, as it may be due to someone's personal mood, experiences, or comfort level.

Please note:

~ Arrive showered and clean as it makes a world of difference as we dance (and sweat) together! Also, please refrain from wearing strong scents as many are sensitive to perfumes/colognes. Clean/natural is best.

~ This space is a non-judgemental, safe and sacred container for you to express your unique, authentic self. Thank you for being a part of this incredible community!

🚪Doors are locked so make sure you get there by 6:30, or communicate in advance so we can keep an eye on the clock for you.
