About this Event

Mary-Louise will be teaching you to make a simple underwired,2 or 3 part cup bra as a way of learning the full range of techniques involved in the bra making process.

From working with fine laces to stretch fabrics and elastic, sewing small shapes and curves, and using rings, slides, under-wires and channelling. Not a beginner’s class, you will need to have reasonably good sewing machine skills.

Please let us know your usual Bra size when booking, this helps the tutor to know what range of notions and accessories to bring to the class.

Requirements for this class: A fabric and notions pack will be available to purchase, at a cost of £15-£18, on the day, including all materials required for your size.

A simple sewing kit (scissors, hand sewing needles, pins, tape measure etc.) this is all available to purchase in store.

Tea and coffee will be in plentiful supply.
