Join us for an underwater pumpkin carving contest on the last Slippery Sunday event of the year!What to bring for pumpkin carving:
- One pumpkin per buddy pair
*Pumpkins must be pre-emptied
*Medium and small pumpkins are much more manageable
underwater than large ones
- Carving tools and a marker
*Keep it simple! Carving underwater can be difficult.
- Dive light (optional) to illuminate the pumpkin underwater
- Underwater-safe and surface-only costumes are encouraged!
Provided:
- Mesh bags to collect pumpkin chunks
- Weights to counteract the pumpkin's buoyancy
- Candles for display out of the water
The first Dive will be used to carve pumpkins and the second will be a regular fun dive.
***Register by Saturday October 26th***
If you would like to participate in the pumpkin carving contest, but do not have a buddy, please let us know by Wednesday October 23rd.
