ABOUT THE SPEAKER - BEC KIMBER
Bec is a Speech and Language Therapist at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, UK. She is an integral part of a multidisciplinary facial palsy clinic and also sees private patients. In addition to her clinical work, Bec provides support to other Speech and Language Therapists working with adults affected by facial palsy. She also serves as the Online Education Officer at FTSI, contributing to the advancement of education in her field.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER - SUZI ALLEN
Suzi is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, United Kingdom. As the clinical lead for the neurological outpatient physiotherapy team, she specializes in facial palsy. In addition to her role in a multidisciplinary facial palsy clinic, Suzi provides personalized one-on-one therapy sessions for patients. She also administers botulinum toxin injections to address complications related to facial palsy and other conditions. Committed to professional development, Suzi actively supports and trains fellow therapists working with individuals affected by facial palsy.
