Join the UC Davis Latinx Media Environments Research Cluster for TWO EVENTS featuring Breena Nuñez (she/they), who is an Afro-Salvadoran-Guatemalan cartoonist and Adjunct Professor of Critical Ethnic Studies at the California College of the Arts. Breena is the co-founder of Laneha House: a family-run, small comics press based in the Bay Area. Their work has been published online in The New Yorker Daily Shouts and The Nib and in print with the comics anthologies Drawing Power (Harry N. Abrams, 2019) and Tales From La Vida (Mad Creek Books, 2018). Her work can also be read at www.lanehahouse.com.
