About this Event
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has committed to transitioning its domestic harbour craft sector to net-zero emissions by 2050. Beginning in 2030, all new harbour craft will need to be fully electric, capable of using B100, or compatible with other net-zero fuels. The ICCT is assessing the costs of this transition and identifying how operators and regulators can work together to make it viable.
During the Singapore Maritime Week 2026, ICCT researchers will present preliminary findings on the passenger launch fleet and invite feedback to refine the analysis, strengthen its relevance, and inform public decision making.
