Are you a good person, well liked, and competent at your job? Despite these qualities have you experienced hurtful romantic relationships?
About this Event

Are you a woman between age 30 & 55 who is or has been in a relationship that hurts you?

Do people tell you that you are a good, caring, and loving person?

Are you competent and loved at your job?

Do you see yourself as a loyal and committed friend or partner?

Despite these qualities have you experienced one or more of the following?

Have you been in relationship(s) with romantic partners who put you down, criticize, berate, disrespect, devalue, belittle, hurt, or exploit you?

Despite the mistreatment you still love the person. Do you believe that if only (s)he would change (s)he would be a loving partner?

Have you had partners who cheated on you or lied to you about their marital or relationship status? Yet, you found it difficult to let go of the relationship or to ask for better treatment?

Do you easily forgive a partner who hurts or mistreats you?

Has your partner accused of being cold, lacking in empathy, unsupportive, uncaring, etc?

Do you feel guilty when your partner makes accusations against you? Do you respond by trying to prove that you are the opposite of the accusation but get nowhere?

Do you tolerate lack of commitment, mistreatment, exploitation and find reasons to explain why your partner is the way (s)he is?

Are you afraid that if you ask for what you need your partner might leave you?

Do you believe that you deserve a loving relationship in which you are treated with respect?

This is an incomplete list of signs that you are or have been in difficult or unhealthy romantic relationship with someone who has narcissitic or bordeline personality traits.

Do you believe that a romantic relationship should be enjoyable and comforting?

Let’s face it, many people who are stuck in difficult romantic relationships, have struggles that go beyond being able to identify narcissistic traits.

Why?

· A lot of what drives your behavior operates outside of your awareness.

· Guilt – one emotion that is used by manipulators to keep you stuck in hurtful relationships.

· Difficulties with prioritizing yourself.

· F is for FEAR. Fear of loss, fear of pain, fear of abandonment, fear of judgement, fear of loneliness, fear of asking for what you need, fear of speaking up, and other fears.
