Dr. Sonja Williams is an addiction medicine specialist. She serves as Medical Director of Behavioral Health Group (BHG) in Cullman. A leader in addiction medicine, BHG is the largest network of Joint Commission-accredited outpatient opioid treatment centers in the U.S., offering comprehensive, personalized evidence-based medications and counseling for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
Dr. Williams is fellowship trained and board certified in Addiction Medicine as well as a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist.
Her extensive work in women's health inspired a deeper exploration into trauma, addiction and medications for addiction.
