Understanding Dementia and the difference from normal aging

The session will be directed by Janet Durkee-Lloyd is an Associate Professor of Gerontology at St. Thomas University in Fredericton. She holds PhD in psychology (University of Wales) and M.A. & B.A. (Honours) (Acadia University). In addition to teaching, her research interests include investigating the system navigation strategies of older adults as well as various aspects of long term care. She works regularly with community partners to enhance the quality of life for older adults living in New Brunswick. See you there!
