Understanding and Addressing Impacts Related to Childhood Experiences

This 2.5 hrs workshop will review the research and foundations of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) surveys, signs to look for in children within the early learning community that can help us be curious about whether ACES may be a factor and to mitigate impact of ACES. Considerations for helpful programming and curriculum adaptations based on the presentations combined with the research knowledge will be discussed. There will be interactive components within the workshop and lunch will be provided.
