About this Event
Underground Facility Locating (UFL) Career Awareness Sessions - Calgary
If you're interested in working in a field with opportunities to advance, join us for an informative in person session to explore what it’s like to work as an Underground Facility Locator. These professionals play a crucial role in protecting the infrastructure we rely on every day by accurately locating and marking underground facilities before excavation begins, to prevent damage during construction and other ground disturbing work.
If you enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and contributing to public safety, this could be a great career fit. This session provides a clear overview of the job, including the skills and training typically required, and opportunities available within the profession.
Hear from industry professionals as they draw from real experience gained in the field, and ask questions that will help you decide whether this career path is right for you.
The session is approximately 1 hour in length. CAPULC will host 2 in-person UFL Career Awareness Sessions in Calgary. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
