About this Event
On-campus Open Days
At an Open Day you can:
- meet the academics you’ll be learning from to find out more about your subject of interest
- talk to current students about life at Sussex and in Brighton
- get practical advice from our expert staff to make your application to Sussex stand out
- hear from our teams in Admissions, Student Advice, Housing, Student Funding, Study Abroad and Placements, Careers and Entrepreneurship
- explore our beautiful campus on a guided tour, check out our facilities and view student accommodation
- attend a dedicated session for Mature Students.
Our Open Days run from 9:30am to 4.30pm. We will send you a programme of the day’s activities in the weeks leading up to the Open Day to help you plan and prioritise the activities that interest you the most. Most talks last around 40 minutes and you can join as many on the day as you’d like. You can also get help from our student ambassadors around campus.
Travel options
Our campus is well connected by public transport, including buses and trains. If you choose to travel to our Open Days by public transport, we’ll plant a tree as part of our sustainability mission.
If you’re driving, you can use parking spaces on campus. Parking is limited, so you’ll need to let us know if you need a space when booking your Open Day place. Parking spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you’d like to visit Brighton after the event, you can leave your car on campus for the day (vehicles are left at the owner’s risk).
